Mission Statement: The Reston Letter seeks to inform the Reston community of local events, highlight local group and individual accomplishments, and, secondarily, to provide a platform for residents to weigh in on local topics relevant to the majority of readers.

We have created a Reston Coloring Book, designed to honor our town’s “Live, Work, Play” spirit through the eyes of local children. Illustrated by a local artist and featuring 32 colorable pages of Reston landmarks, parks, and community life, this project helps our youngest residents explore what makes our town so special. It also makes a great gift for our Restonians of all ages!

How Your Organization Can Participate

  1. Share the information with your community.
Invite your clients/parents/constituents to purchase the coloring book directly from us. We will provide flyers, digital graphics, and sample materials to make promotion easy and fun.

  2. Purchase in bulk from us and sell to your community individually. This is a great option for a fundraiser for local PTO or PTA school groups.

If you have any questions, or wish to talk about promoting at your business or school, please write to therestonlettermarketing@gmail.com.

Thank you for helping us share Reston’s story, one crayon at a time.

The Reston Letter is your free, go-to source for Reston, Virginia hometown community news. The first issue hit 14,000 Reston mailboxes in January 2023, in January 2024 circulation increased to 18,500 Reston residences, and now in 2025 we're printing 23,000 copies monthly. It is printed and delivered the second week of each month. The Reston Letter aims to be in the mailbox of every Reston resident and on the counter at every Reston business.

Our content covers news about the amazing events, programs, organizations, businesses, and entertainment that go on in Reston. We use our printed product and our online platform to inform readers about what has happened, and about what is to come. We promote local businesses and highlight our residences. Everyone has a story!
